Inspired by the European vintage design, DYR is finally getting rid of the carpets to make way for some lovely French oak floors! Just picture sawn-cut, wire-brushed and super wide plank (herringbone, too!) Did I also mention they look smokin' hot with white walls. EEK!!!
SO, with any design process, when you get rid of something so prominent in your house you begin to rethink the rest of the colors in each room, furniture layout and color palette. This week's photograph find pays homage to the timeless look of oak. It WILL make you want to incorporate a little sleek vintage in your home, I swear.
